EDWATEC Visits RIKEN Center for Quantum Computing
EDWATEC visited the RIKEN Center for Quantum Computing, where Dr. Amir Youssefi presented the company’s activities and toured RIKEN’s advanced quantum laboratories, including its 144-qubit superconducting quantum computer.

EDWATEC was honored to be invited by Prof. Yasunobu Nakamura, Director of the RIKEN Center for Quantum Computing and one of the pioneering inventors behind today’s superconducting quantum computing platform.
During the visit, Dr. Amir Youssefi, CTO and Co-Founder of EDWATEC, presented the company’s activities together with his colleague Parsa Khorasani. The team also had the opportunity to visit RIKEN’s outstanding laboratories, including its renowned 144-qubit superconducting quantum computer.
The visit provided a valuable opportunity to exchange perspectives on the role of integrated photonics in advanced quantum systems and to discuss potential intersections between optical technologies and scalable quantum computing platforms.
EDWATEC sincerely thanks Prof. Nakamura and the RIKEN team for their warm welcome, insightful discussions, and the opportunity to engage with one of the world’s leading quantum research centers.
