EDWATEC at OPIE 2026 in Yokohama, Japan
EDWATEC will present its erbium-doped integrated amplifier and laser technology at OPIE 2026 in Yokohama, engaging with Japan’s leading photonics community.

EDWATEC will be exhibiting at OPIE 2026 in Yokohama, one of Japan’s key events dedicated to optics and photonics technologies. The exhibition brings together a strong ecosystem of industrial leaders, system integrators, and research organizations, reflecting Japan’s long-standing leadership in optical and photonic innovation.
At the event, EDWATEC will present its latest developments in erbium-doped photonic integrated circuits, enabling on-chip optical amplification and lasing. These technologies address a critical gap in silicon photonics by introducing efficient and compact optical gain directly within integrated platforms, supporting the evolution of next-generation optical communication systems.
OPIE provides an important opportunity to engage with Japanese industry players, many of whom are at the forefront of advanced optical components, modules, and system integration. We look forward to exchanging perspectives on integration strategies, performance requirements, and potential collaborations across telecom, datacom, and emerging photonics applications.
If you are attending OPIE 2026, we would be pleased to welcome you at our booth and discuss how EDWATEC’s solutions can support your system needs.
