Showcasing Innovation at Jiufengshan Conference: Dr. Amir Youssefi Presents EDWA Technology
EDWATEC was honored to have our CTO and Co-founder, Dr. Amir Youssefi, present our Erbium-Doped Waveguide Amplifier (EDWA) technology during the Optoelectronics session at the Jiufengshan Conference (JFSC) and the Compound Semiconductor Industry Expo (CSE) in Wuhan, China.

This engagement marked a significant milestone as we introduced our on-chip optical amplification solutions to one of the world’s most dynamic and fast-evolving photonics markets. The reception was exceptionally warm, with meaningful dialogue around the role of integrated amplification in next-generation optical systems, from datacom and telecom to sensing and quantum applications.
Wuhan’s Optics Valley is rapidly establishing itself as a global innovation hub in photonics and semiconductors. Witnessing the pace of development and the scale of investment firsthand was both impressive and energizing. We thank the organizers for the opportunity and look forward to deepening collaborations with stakeholders across China’s photonics ecosystem.
