EDWATEC at ECOC 2026
EDWATEC is exhibiting at ECOC 2026 in Málaga, showcasing its latest developments in on-chip optical amplification and lasing, including live demonstrations of integrated optical amplifiers and solutions for monolithic and hybrid integration.

EDWATEC is pleased to be exhibiting at ECOC 2026 in Málaga, where our team is meeting with customers, partners, and key players from across the photonics industry.
At the exhibition, we are showcasing our latest developments in on-chip optical amplification and lasing for a range of applications, including data-center interconnects, coherent and long-haul optical communications, sensing, and emerging photonic systems.
A key highlight of our presence at ECOC is a live demonstration of EDWATEC’s integrated optical amplifiers, illustrating our approach to bringing optical gain directly onto photonic chips and embedding amplification capabilities into photonic products.
Our technology supports both monolithic and hybrid integration, enabling optical amplification to be incorporated into existing and future photonic platforms according to application and system requirements.
Throughout the event, we are engaging with industry partners and customers to explore how integrated optical amplification can contribute to the development of next-generation optical communication and photonic systems.
ECOC 2026 is also a special occasion for EDWATEC as we welcome Dr. Sara Marzban to the team as our new Application Scientist. Her expertise further strengthens our capabilities in supporting customers and partners in the application and integration of EDWATEC’s technology.
We look forward to continuing the discussions throughout ECOC 2026. If you are attending the event, visit us at Booth 1192 to meet the team, see our live demonstration, and discuss how integrated optical amplification could support your next-generation photonic products.
