EDWATEC at OFC 2026
EDWATEC is exhibiting at OFC 2026 in Los Angeles, presenting its latest advances in on-chip optical amplification based on erbium-doped photonic integrated circuits.

EDWATEC is currently exhibiting at OFC 2026 in Los Angeles, one of the main international gatherings for the optical communications community. The event brings together industry, research, and system players across the full photonics value chain, and we are pleased to be part of this year’s edition.
Our team is set up at the entrance of the West Hall at the Los Angeles Convention Center, where we are presenting our latest progress in on-chip optical amplification and lasing. At the core of this work is our erbium-doped photonic integrated circuit platform, which enables optical gain directly on chip. By integrating amplification within photonic circuits, this approach addresses a long-standing limitation in silicon photonics and opens the door to more compact and scalable optical systems.
Throughout the week, we are engaging with partners and visitors to discuss how these devices can be integrated into real-world applications, from high-speed optical interconnects to emerging system architectures where size, efficiency, and performance are critical.
If you are attending OFC, we would be glad to welcome you at our booth and continue the discussion in person.
