As EDWATEC grows from six to nearly 17 team members, we are evolving our leadership structure for the company’s next stage of growth. Dr. Amir Youssefi has been appointed CEO, Dr. Peter Ils CFO and Chairman of the Board, and Parsa Khorasani COO, strengthening EDWATEC’s leadership as we advance integrated optical amplification toward industrialization and high-volume manufacturing.

A year and a half ago, we were a team of six. Today, EDWATEC isreaching 17 people and getting every day closer to our goal of bringingintegrated optical amplification from the lab into real products andhigh-volume manufacturing.
With this growth comes new responsibilities and new needs. Tosupport the next stage of EDWATEC, we are evolving our leadership roles:
Dr. Amir Youssefi, Co-founder and previously CTO, takes on the roleof Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Dr. Peter Ils, who has led EDWATEC as CEO through an importantphase of its growth and development, becomes Chief Financial Officer (CFO)and Chairman of the Board, bringing his experience and leadership to theincreasing financial, corporate, and strategic responsibilities of the company.
Parsa Khorasani, who joined EDWATEC as its very first employee andhas grown together with the company from its earliest days, becomes ChiefOperating Officer (COO), overseeing our growing operations and customeractivities.
These changes reflect how far EDWATEC hascome — and, more importantly, where we are going. We are very happy to continuethis journey together, with the same trust, energy, and shared ambition that hasbrought us here.
